ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY aboard Miss Belmar!
Miss Belmar Princess - This morning we started off picking a few fish. Later in the morning we had some drifts that lasted 30 minutes as ACTION picked up and we had multiple fish on at shots. Around noon fishing slowed a bit with a few fish a drift. POPPERS and JIGS both worked well today. Fish today were 2-4lbs with some bigger ones mixed in. High hook today boated 12 BLUES up to 7lbs and he lost about another 12 he hooked! Anglers who fished hard and worked at it all day went home with fish. Many LIMITS around the boat today! 15 year old Oren was HOT today with the POPPERS and BOATED 9 and LOST 12 and was today's Pool Winner!
Royal Miss Belmar - Tough day on the FLUKE and SEA BASS grounds. First stop FLUKING produced a few KEEPERS IMMEDIATELY but then unfortunately it died down. Even the Action we enjoyed with shorts wasn't there. Moved to deeper water and had a few KEEPER SEA BASS right away and then nothing. Another move to even deeper water produced the same results. We ended the day with a handfull of KEEPER FLUKE and SEA BASS. Terry from Tom's River was today's Pool Winner with a 2 1/2lb Fluke!
BACK AT IT TOMORROW for the 3/4 trip for BLUES! COME ON DOWN, Be there by 7am!
