My only goals for that day were to make the boat before it took off, catch more fish than I did my first time on this boat, and to have fun. Well, I achieved all three!!!! I can't wait until the next time!
My birthday gift. Thanks for letting us have a good day. Great trip and the captain tries to keep us on the fish. Mates and the captain interact with the visitors. Very attentive to your needs. Boat is very clean. Must go again. Can’t wait to go tuna fishing me and my son. He loved it and he was so happy to land a big one. Hell, it made my day! -Lrthm5
Having fished on private charters, as well as party boats similar to the Miss Belmar Princess, I found the entire crew to be pleasant and helpful. It’s not always the number of fish in the box that counts but the people and crew you are with. The boat was clean and comfortable and the captain did put us on fish and we enjoyed them the next night. I am not the person that writes reviews as my wife Kim will attest. I am more of the vocal type. We will fish on this boat again.... good luck fishing. -Fishermanjp Mullica Hill, New Jersey
My family and I went out on the Miss Belmar Princess for the very first time today. In the past, we have been on several 4 hour fishing boat trips departing out of Wildwood. Today’s 7 hour trip has proven to be the GREATEST! The captain and crew were amazing and extremely helpful. Crewman Phil taught me more than I ever could have imagined learning about the basics of fishing and casting. I wish to thank him for encouraging and teaching me! We look forward to going out with Miss Belmar Princess again! P.S. the blue fish and porgies were delicious! Thank You!

The Miss Belmar Princess is a great choice for your fishing excursion. The captain finds the fish and the cheerful mates are extremely helpful with everything from setting up your tackle, helping you land your fish, and dealing with tangles to cleaning your catch for you on the way back to dockside.

There are many fishing boats to choose in the Belmar, Point Pleasant and Brielle area. Most have good captains and crews or they would not be in business. Over the last 40 years I have fished on most of them. But when I want to go fishing now, my car always drives to the Miss Belmar Princess as I appreciate its consistency. There are going to be good and bad fishing days on every boat but I have never had any negative surprises on the Miss Belmar Princess.
We took the 4:30-8:30 fishing trip and had a blast. The crew was super helpful and always available when we needed anything and there were comfortable lounge chairs on the upper deck when we just wanted to relax and enjoy the views. We saw a whale, dolphins, skates, and caught some fish - great time!! We'll definitely do it again!
We made the most of our jetlag and had an incredible morning on the Miss Belmar. Caught 3 blue fish, 2 sea bass (someone else caught the tuna) and then got to see a whale, dolphins and a 6’ shark someone had on their line. Sienna’s excitement was priceless!
IMPRESSED. Staff was SUPER friendly and helpful (didn't get upset but calmly reiterated and showed instructions after people kept bird nesting lines) VERY attentive. Plentiful staff who roamed the boat to help and asked if anyone needed anything. Nice CLEAN boat. NO drunk and disorderlies. Nice peaceful trip. GREAT for families. YUMMY homemade ice cream sandwiches.
We got a Groupon for this boat and my husband took our 15 year old for a fishing trip. The boat was very clean, fishing was good and they brought fish home, which sometimes doesn’t happen. The price was good and included rods and a small lunch. You have to get to the boat early. People are there an hour ahead choosing the best fishing spots on the boat. The only minus was that the boat was too full, people were close to each other and the lines got tangled. They did go fishing on Sunday though and I am sure it is not as crowded on a week day. Great experience if you are trying to fishing.
This was our second year celebrating Veteran's Appreciation Day. We had 75 veterans, active military and their families on the boat. The mates and captain were better than great. Everyone on the boat had nothing but smiles on their faces. A lot of fish were caught and everyone is looking forward to the next trip out with the Miss Belmar Princess!
The last we left off was striper and blue fishing which ended a couple of weeks ago. We have been waiting for the mackerel to show up and there are some being caught off of Long Island right now. There are a couple of boats that are going to go out for them this Friday….
Due to the lack of fish, and lack of people, the striper season is now over. The water is getting cold and any fish that are left are very small shorts and it’s not enough action to go fishing for. If the boston mackerel come in in the next couple of weeks we will sail…
