Dolphin Stampede

Another beautiful day out on the Royal Miss Belmar.  We headed north and not long into our trip we came across a superpod of dolphins.  A superpod is when smaller dolphin pods join together to form a huge superpod with hundreds of dolphins.  Some superpods have up to 1,000 dolphins!  These superpods form when there is an abundance of food and there certainly is an abundance of Atlantic Menhaden (bunker fish) right off the Jersey Shore. Everyone was thrilled to watch hundreds of dolphins jumping up out of the water, slapping their tails, and swimming all around the boat.  It was better than any show at Sea World!  And what makes it even better is these dolphins are swimming free in their natural habitat: wild and free.  Come on out with us and witness this spectacular show yourself.  Go to Missbelmar.com and book your trip today!
