Fishing Report – Miss Belmar

The fishing showed some nice signs of improvement today.

Aboard the Miss Belmar Princess, we had lots of sea bass action with plenty of throwbacks keeping anglers busy. Some customers put together very nice catches, including keeper fluke, and a couple anglers limited out.

Anthony had an impressive day, catching 63 sea bass with 4 keepers mixed in.

We even had an angler visiting from Vermont today, proving once again that fishermen will travel a long way when the Jersey Shore starts heating up.

On the S.S. Miss Belmar, we picked away at keeper sea bass before moving in closer to the beach, where anglers found short fluke and a keeper fluke that took today’s pool.

Congratulations to today’s pool winner, Jim Lesher.

More action, more keepers, and plenty of reasons to be optimistic. The water is warming up, summer is settling in, and it felt a lot more like summer fishing today.

Whether you’re lucky enough to call the Jersey Shore home or you’re visiting for the summer, now is a great time to get out on the water. Join us aboard the Miss Belmar for sea bass fishing, fluke fishing, family fishing trips, and whale watching all season long.

Come join us tomorrow.
